Will Jenkins is set for the biggest and most exciting season of his racing career to date this year as he makes the step up to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, the fastest and most prestigious one-make championship in the UK, with the continued support of Alliance Racing and Wera Tools.

Jenkins is entering his third consecutive season as part of the coveted Young Driver Programme from British Touring Car Championship winning team Alliance Racing, which recognises the brightest young talents in British motorsport and supports them in their progression in the sport.

That partnership means Jenkins will once again receive headline support from academy partner Wera Tools. Their instantly recognisable black and green branding brings an exciting look to the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car he will race this season on the British Touring Car Championship support bill.

The Staffordshire-based racer will once again be linking up with Team Parker Racing for the upcoming campaign. They are the most successful team ever in one-make Porsche competition in the UK with more than 30 titles to their name, including three class successes in the 2024 Carrera Cup GB.

Jenkins and Team Parker Racing enjoyed a fantastic 2024 season together. The 20-year-old talent charged to four race wins, 13 podium finishes and a top three points finish in his second season in the Sprint Challenge GB, setting him up perfectly for the natural progression to the Carrera Cup GB.

Alongside the support of Alliance Racing and Wera Tools, Jenkins is also receiving crucial backing from a number of personal partners for the 2025 season; Barkers Finance, Hopkins Race Transporters, SAF Holland Group, The Green Group, Asset Alliance Group, Culina Group and The Reefer Trailer Centre.

Will Jenkins: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be making the step up to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. It is a championship I’ve long admired and aspired to compete in, so it’s truly a dream come true to be joining the grid this season.

“A huge thank you to Alliance Racing and Wera Tools for their continued support, this move wouldn’t have been possible without them. It’s been an honour to represent them the last two seasons and I’m confident we can enjoy another successful year together.

“I’m under no illusions as to the challenge that faces me in such a competitive championship with a new car to learn, but I’ve got the best in the business to support me in Team Parker Racing. There’s so much to look forward to this year and I can’t wait to get started.”

Pete Osborne – Owner, Alliance Racing: “We’re delighted to be continuing our support for Will Jenkins into the 2025 season as he steps up to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. He put in some fantastic performances in his Wera Tools Cayman over the last two years and we’re excited to see what he can achieve this season.”

Stuart Parker – Team Principal, Team Parker Racing: “We are delighted to continue working with Will as he progresses to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. He showed fantastic speed and racecraft last season, and we believe he has all the attributes needed to succeed in the highly competitive Carrera Cup. With his dedication and the support of our experienced team, we are excited to see what he can achieve in 2025.”

Since its launch back in 2003, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB has become renowned for its exhilarating and close-fought racing. The championship has served as a springboard for many drivers into successful careers, with former champions including BTCC star Dan Cammish and leading GT racing drivers Harry King, Dan Harper, Adam Smalley and Charlie Eastwood.

The championship races exclusively alongside the British Touring Car Championship. An eight event, 16 race calendar includes visits to Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Silverstone, Thruxton, Knockhill, Snetterton and Croft, with live ITV television coverage at each event.

The 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season begins with two races on the Donington Park National circuit over the weekend of 27/28 April.
